CS373 Spring 2022: Abhinav Mugunda

What did you do this past week?

This past week was spent finishing up the first project and learning about Continuous Integration and software development practices.

What’s in your way?

I am having trouble fine tuning the different caches for the Collatz project but I’m sure with a little more trial and error I will pass the third hackerrank test eventually.

What will you do next week?

Next week will be a week for me to catch up on my sleep schedule and hopefully get more involved in class work.

What did you think of Paper #3: Continuos Integration?

I really like it, and I thought it made a sound argument to why CI should be used with every project. It saves so much time in the long run for debugging and it makes you code much more accessible to your peers.

What was your experience of UnitTests, Coverage, and IsPrime? (this question will vary, week to week)

I thought it was a cool way to dip our feet into the Software Engineering industry. None of this is new for me though since we did the exact same stuff in OOP.

What made you happy this week?

Me and my roommates started playing FIFA, and I’m the only one who hasn’t played before. But I started to get the hang of it, and started winning games.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

Air fried oreos are the best food in existence. I covered oreos in pancake batter and threw them in my air fryer for a couple of minutes, and now I’m obsessed.
